A Forward-Thinking HR Leader.

Demystifying human resources so you don’t have to.

Since 1987, I have been involved in the fine dining and casual fine dining sectors of restaurant operations in New York City. In that time, I have worked with and recruited for many of the industry’s best-known brands.

Armed with a thousand years of experience (hospitality measures time differently), I am at my best in solutions design and deployment, culture building, employee engagement, and talent acquisition. Shielding and growing your business is my top priority, thus I am conservative around risk and always advocate for best practices.

A founding member of Human Resources Professionals in Hospitality, I mentor and advise HR specialists in the industry. In 2018, New York City’s Hospitality Alliance presented me with the Heart of Hospitality award. The Heart of Hospitality is given to an individual who is recognized for excellence in the profession of human resources in hospitality.

A native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, I am fully bilingual. You may be interested to know I am also: Mom to two amazing young women.  Island girl. Green thumb. Compliance and word nerd. Obsessed with HGTV, the Oxford comma, and the rotisserie chicken at El Malecon in Washington Heights.
